This is about right I'd 3-4 if you are an actual pain patient, but the thing you have to remember is the duration on the Oxymorphone is 5-6 times longer than the Dilaudid if IV'd in the same manner. For me the Dilaudid is for a recreational use of someone who wants to get high but not be sedated over half the day. If you have a full day with nothing to do or for breakthrough pain management Opana is your friend. Also do you have the IR or ER version of Opana>?  nomad bloodbath
